Aron Levine is the Chicago Regional Executive for Commercial Real Estate Banking.  In his role, Levine is responsible for an organization focused on delivering the full range of financial services, including credit as well as non–credit products and services, designed to meet the needs of commercial real estate owners, developers and investors headquartered in Chicago.

Levine joined Bank of America in April 2004, after having represented FleetBoston Financial on the Fleet/Bank of America Merger Transition Team, with specific responsibility for Global Corporate and Investment Banking.  Levine then served as Marketing Executive for Global Corporate and Investment Banking, where he led efforts to drive revenue growth and increase brand strength across the Bank of America franchise.  Prior to the merger, he had spent seven years in the Commercial Real Estate Banking Group, where he served as a Senior Relationship Manager responsible for client relationships with both public and private real estate developers nationwide. 

Levine graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in both Economics and History. 

Active in the community, Levine is currently serving on the Board of Governors for the Metropolitan Planning Council, Board of Directors Chicago Central Area Committee, Board of Directors for City Year Chicago, and the Board of Advisors for the University of Wisconsin at Madison School for Real Estate.

Andrew Nieman joined The John Buck Company in 1983 and is currently the Principal-in-Charge of the Product Leasing Group as well as Director of Marketing and Leasing for the 155 North Wacker Drive development, a 46-story, 1,109,937 square foot high-rise office building at the southeast corner of Wacker Drive and Randolph Street in Chicago.

During his tenure with The John Buck Company, Mr. Nieman has been involved in over 6.5 million square feet of office transactions and is a three-time recipient of the Downtown Chicago Broker of the Year Award, sponsored now by Crain’s Chicago Business.  Mr. Nieman’s major projects and leases negotiated include 111 S. Wacker Drive (1,029,000 RSF), 100 N. Riverside Plaza (770,270 RSF), UBS Tower at One North Wacker Drive (1,375,000 RSF), Sears Tower Redevelopment (3,700,000 RSF), 35 West Wacker Drive, and Prairie Stone (786 acres).

Currently, he serves as the President of the Wacker Drive Property Owners Association, a beautification project of Wacker Drive in Chicago’s West Loop.  During the inception of the Association, Mr. Nieman served as Vice Chairman, coordinating a multi-million dollar beautification project that was completed in November 1991.  This project continues today with an annual planting, banner, and maintenance program.

Prior to joining JBC, Mr. Nieman was a project architect with Schipporeit, Inc. of Chicago for six years.  Mr. Nieman earned his B.S. in Environmental Design (Architecture) as well as a B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from Miami University.

Steven F. Stratton, President, Midwest Region, Corporate Services, of The Staubach Company is a member of the Chicago-based executive team and participates in the parent’s Executive Committee. Steve leads the tenant representation practice, but remains an active participant with team members in major client partnerships, corporate relocation, site selection, sublease/disposition, and strategic consulting assignments.

Steve’s background in real estate financing, leasing, and development encompasses over $10 billion in real estate transactions since 1973.  In the past ten years, he has been responsible for over 320 leases and consulting assignments in the Chicago market valued in excess of $7 billion.

Mr. Stratton’s clients include ABN·AMRO/LaSalle National Bank, Northern Trust Company, UBS/Warburg/Brinson, Chicago Stock Exchange, DiamondCluster International, Inc., Viacom/CBS, OWP/P, SOM, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Marsh McLennan, William Blair, Freeborn & Peters, and Wildman Harrold, among others.

Steve has been consistently acknowledged by his peers, receiving The Chicago Sun Times 1993 Tenant Representative of the Year Award; NAIOP's 1995, 2001, 2002 and 2005 Downtown Chicago Office Transaction of the Year Award; COLBA’s 1996 COLBY Teamwork Award; and nominated for Crain’s 2000 Office Broker of the Year and NAIOP’s 2000, 2003, and 2004 Office Transaction of the Year.

Stratton holds a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois, Champaign.  He is an active participant within real estate industry associations on a local and national level.  He is a member and past Director of the Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA), the Chicago Real Estate Organization (CREO), the Chicago Board of Realtors (CBOR), and Corenet Global.

Steve has been an active member in the not-for-profit community as the past business chairman of St. Joseph’s Hospital’s Celebrity Golf Invitational and a member of the St. Joseph’s Foundation’s Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of The LaSalle Street Council.  He currently is a part of the University of Illinois Scholarship Foundation.  His wife, Sarah, is also active in the community with the Latin School of Chicago, the Chicago Academy for the Arts, and is on The Women’s Service Board of The Children’s Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Greg Van Schaack joined Hines in 1985 and has since been active in establishing new development and management opportunities throughout the Midwest.  As project officer, he has overseen the development of numerous buildings in the Chicago area including:  One South Dearborn, an 825,000 square foot, 40-story office tower located in the Loop Central Business District; Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America Corporate Campus in Deerfield, a two-building 400,000 square foot project with infrastructure for three additional buildings; 540 West Madison, a 1.3 million square foot high-technology office tower in Chicago’s West Loop; 191 North Wacker in downtown Chicago, a 740,000 square foot, 37-story office building; Woodfield Preserve Office Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, a 640,000 square foot two-building complex; and Oak Brook Pointe, in Oak Brook, Illinois, a 220,00 square foot building.

Current projects include 300 North LaSalle, a 1.3 million square foot, 60-story office high-rise located at LaSalle Street and the Chicago River; and River Point, a 50 story, 1.1 million square foot office tower with an adjacent 200-room boutique hotel also located on the Chicago River at Lake Street.

Greg is an advocate for green building in Chicago.  LEED certifications have been awarded 540 W. Madison, One South Dearborn, and Takeda and are anticipated for 300 North LaSalle and River Point.  Greg serves on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Colorado College in 1979.
