David E. Friedman, a previous Director within Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s (BAML) Real Estate Syndicated Capital Markets, was team leader of the Commercial Real Estate Banking (CREB) Syndications group. As leader of the business, David was responsible for the management of a team dedicated to providing structuring strategies and syndication executions of all balance sheet lending (unsecured, entity-level, construction, stabilized, bridge and/or reposition) originated by the national Commercial Real Estate Banking (CREB) business. In addition to management of the business, David had primary syndication responsibilities of the CREB New York/New Jersey market and asset-secured financings originated by the Real Estate Corporate Banking (RECB) group.
David joined BAML’s Real Estate Syndicated Capital Markets group as an Associate in June 2006 after a three (3) year employment with PNC Bank, N.A. in its Real Estate Finance group.
David received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Babson College (Babson Park, MA) and Masters of Science in Real Estate from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate (New York, NY).
David is an active member of the Real Estate Lenders Association (“RELA”), currently serving as a National Board Member and previously serving as an officer of RELA’s New York Chapter (2011-2014).
