I am truly honored to serve as the RELA Philadelphia Chapter President. Even more so, I am humbled to work alongside a great board of directors, and the Immediate Past President, Jeff Wallace and you, our chapter members.
The Philadelphia Chapter has become a very strong and supportive chapter. We started out with a strong membership and have grown by 47% since our inception in 2019. Whether they be on video or in person, we have come together for many events over the past 3 years. I believe they have all been successful in their own way, both informative and building camaraderie. Our goal for the 2022-2023 membership year is to keep the momentum going, grow our membership (with established and new/young bankers), and further solidify our chapter as the premiere commercial banking networking group in the Delaware Valley.
The board is currently planning our events for the upcoming year with site tours, in-person events with real estate and non-real estate industry experts and, of course, a social gathering or two (is it too early to mention March Madness?) Regardless of the event, we look forward to coming together and sharing experiences and insights on current events in our industry, which I’m sure will be interesting given current market conditions.
Last, I would be remiss, if I didn’t say “thank you” to our outgoing President, Jeff Wallace. Under Jeff’s guidance and leadership, the Philadelphia Chapter was born and has established itself as a premiere chapter in RELA.
We welcome your membership and participation, and we look forward to meeting you at the next RELA event.
