C.J. Csontos

In his role, CJ manages a Real Estate portfolio that spans NY and NJ Institutional Investors as well as a select number of individual and family investors. CJ began his career in Real Estate Banking in 2005 with M&T Bank and shortly thereafter attended his first RELA breakfast meeting in NYC. CJ has been a member of RELA since 2010. Previously, CJ worked as a Workout Officer for ING Clarion Capital, an RM/Underwriter at HSH Nordbank, and a Credit Analyst/Underwriter at M&T Bank. CJ became an officer for RELA NJ shortly at the invitation of Mark Santasieri shortly after the chapter creation and he has been involved ever since.  CJ previously served as the 3rd Chapter President of RELA NJ (2015-2017), succeeding Collen Foy.  CJ replaced Mark Santasieri and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Golf Outing Committee and helps to plan various events throughout the calendar year. During his time as Chapter President, CJ created a new member initiative and helped drive membership up to one of the Chapter’s highest levels.  In the post pandemic environment, CJ has been working closely with the current Chapter President to help return RELA NJ’s membership numbers to the prior levels. CJ holds a bachelor’s in arts in Economics from Boston University.
